4-Wire
Jetphone
The ICG JetPhone 4-Wire model is a rugged
and durable corded handset installed
frequently in general aviation and air
transport applications. This device has
a
4-Wire audio circuit (Tx pair and Rx pair)
with a discreet hook signal and incoming
ring signal. It is frequently used as
a direct connection handset to a 4-Wire
transceiver or as an attendant handset.
The 4-Wire JetPhone also has a PTT button
to permit key-up of the aircraft PA system
permitting in-flight announcements.
Features such as a lit dialer pad, mute,
noise reduction microphone and special
function buttons make it particularly
useful as a dual Interphone/Telecom handset.
It is a suitable replacement for the WH-10
handset.
