AeroCom 2200
The AeroCom 2200 is a complete telecommunications
system designed for aeronautical general
aviation and military applications. The device
offers many features common to a typical corporate
office telecommunications system. PABX
functions such as conferencing, intercom calling,
transfer, executive over-ride, call queuing, voice
prompts, least cost routing,VoIP, etc. are standard
in all models of the system. True “office in the
sky” features allow users to seamlessly migrate
from corporate headquarters to flight without
the need to learn special operations or the use
of custom handsets. The AeroCom 2200 offers
connectivity, integration and management of all
aircraft communications systems and user devices.
With an internal SIP server, VoIP handsets are
supported with delivery to communications
transceivers in IP, PCM or analog voice protocols.
The system provides connectivity to a 2-wire
analog subscriber or CO circuits as well as
CEPT-E1 and Ethernet digital circuits to support
integration to all current and emerging communications
facilities. The flexible and open telecommunications
architecture permits the addition
of new communications circuits at any time and
the system is Broadband ready. Essentially, the
system provides a communications server for
the life of the aircraft.
